We are approaching the stage where we begin our first attempts of breaking world records. I've researched world records that I think we are capable of beating. Among these are, farthest distance to throw and water balloon and have it be caught by the receiving partner, most individual pieces of paper to be ripped in a minute, most leapfrogs by a team of two to be performed in one minute. While these are easier to break than many other world records it will still take a great amount of time and effort to come close to breaking any. Before we began, me and Jacob noted the fact that we may not break any of these records, we both agreed that in that case our triumph would be in the perseverance exuded during this twelve week span. In some cases there are more opportunities to learn from our failures than our successes. Meanwhile us being unable to complete these world records but still have a fun time would hopefully show others that not everything has to work or go as perfectly as we want it to for it to still be a great experience. I guarantee you that if everybody went out and said I wanna break a world record and it's ok if I fail, then the records me and Jacob are trying to beat would be way more challenging.
Jacob and I attempted to beat the world record for fastest time to set up a chess board and beat the time but because of a minor error aren't able to send that video in too actually be recognized as record holders. Still, it was incredibly exciting to come that close to beating a world record and know that with some practice, potentially hold a world record within the week.
